To find the beginning of the "HIMORA story", we take a big leap back to the last century.
Hans Riemann was the first in the family to produce special bodies for trucks during the German economic miracle and, out of his passion for vehicles, began to tune and convert his private Horex. This passion has since been passed down from his son Bernd Riemann to his grandson Kay Riemann and has deepened with each generation. Bernd Riemann was then the first to take this passion out of his private life - he began to manufacture and sell special parts for Simson mopeds and other motorcycles in his free time. HIMORA was founded. However, the love of classic motorcycles always remained, which is also evident in the name.
Because HIMORA stands for nothing other than HIstorical MOTORRAD.
However, what HIMORA MOTORS is today was created in the hands of Kay, who in 2014, while studying industrial design, was looking for decent and stylish clothes for cafe racers and tinkering, but simply couldn't find anything suitable... So he started to design the first shirts and designs himself that matched the vintage motorcycles he and his father had converted.
Today, a few years later, thanks in part to the latest addition - Willi Schaup - HIMORA MOTORS has become a renowned brand in the field of old school bikes, vintage cars, classic cars and simply everything that runs on diesel or petrol. Willi and Kay crossed paths when they were still at school, but it was still a few years before they combined their skills and were perfectly complemented by Willi's strong passion for vehicles and Kay's existing love of motorcycles and design. Since then, we have had more ideas than is good for us and we are constantly working on surprising and inspiring you with new designs, highlights and the great quality of our clothes.
That's the short version of our story. Shaped by people who somehow could never keep their hands off their vehicles and constantly had to change something about them. But always dressed appropriately and surrounded by friends who also share our passion. HIMORA MOTORS has now become a large community that is constantly growing and gives each other the craziest ideas.
